En liten ferie tur med RXen. Norge til Middelhavet og hjem igjen. Hvordan gikk det?

Norge til Sverige, så ferge til Tyskland. Videre til Østrike, Slovenia og så Kroatia ( Målet! )
Retur Kroatia, Slovenia, Italia og overnatting i Østrike. Videre Tyskland, Danmark og overnatting i Sverige. Så endelig hjem til kjære Norge igjen.
5616 km i en eldre Lexus RX, men over 330.000 km på telleren.

Turen gikk bra, med kun noen så problemer med plast klips som var gamle og ga etter på Autobahn i Tyskland. Men fikk løst det med tape og plaststrips 🙂
Hva skal man forvente av en bil som har gått 330.000 km. Og som er vant til lave Norske fartsgrenser 😉

Men kjenner at turen har tatt på hos meg. Vi ente opp i mye veiarbeid, så vi «kjørte» i nesten 12 timer 3 dager på rad, på tur hjem. Kroppen og hodet er utslitt kjenner jeg.

Ja vi kjørte konas Lexus RX450h, med adaptiv cruise control.
Nesten 300 hk, er helt ok på Autobahn også 😉

A little holiday trip with the RX. Norway to the Mediterranean and back home. How did it go?

Norway to Sweden, then ferry to Germany. On to Austria, Slovenia and then Croatia ( The goal! )
Return Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and overnight stay in Austria. On to Germany, Denmark and overnight stay in Sweden. Then finally home to dear Norway again.
5616 km in an older Lexus RX, but over 330,000 km on the odometer.

The trip went well, with only a few problems with plastic clips that were old and gave way on the Autobahn in Germany. But they were solved with tape and plastic strips 🙂
What should you expect from a car that has done 330,000 km. And is used to low Norwegian speed limits 😉

But I feel that the trip has taken its toll on me. We ran into a lot of roadworks, so we «drove» for almost 12 hours 3 days in a row, on the way home. I know my body and mind are exhausted.

Yes, we drove my wife’s Lexus RX450h, with adaptive cruise control.
Almost 300 hp, is perfectly fine on the Autobahn too 😉
